Club Comp Sunday 10th May 2009 Well Done to everyone that took part in the competition! This year was the third running of the MH trampoline competition, and the performance level was significantly higher than last year - congratulations. Top Novice: LOUISA SHELLARD U11G HIGHEST TARIFF (Difficulty): I will post photos on the gallery after next weekend it probably will take me until half-term to get them all onto the website so don't worry if you can't find them! No matter where you finished, it's time to go back to training and improve on the weaker or horrible skills in your routine. Hopefully we will see you again in 2010 to either try a harder routine or get a better score. Thanks again, Kieran Results Novice U11B Novice U11G Novice U15G Novice U15B Intermediate U11B Intermediate U11G Intermediate U15G Intermediate U15B Intermediate O15G Elite U11G Elite U15B Elite U15G Elite O15B Elite O15G Regional Competitions
2010 Dates Results 11/10/09 @ Hudson L.C, Wisbech MHGC had a successful day. Gymnasts competing at grade G - Andrew Stamp (U11B) came 2nd in his group and achieved the qualifying score to move up a grade, despite it being his first attempt at this level! Rebecca Rawlins (U15G) 11th; Carrie Barrett 17th; and Oliver Scott (O15B) came second overall but narrowly missing the qualification score! Gymnasts competing at grade H were: Annie Napier (U15G) 2nd. In the U11 girls group Charlotte Ellis 7th; Louisa Shellard 9th; Lottie Edwards 11th the three girls finished first in the team competition. Gymnasts at the club are now working towards the next regional competition at Grimsby in January. Sunday 24th May 2009 - Aero Kinetics, Peterborough. What a great day for everyone! The morning session started with the U15G (G); Rebecca Rawlins (18th) made the first performance for the girls team with a steady start. Her second routine travelled along the trampoline a bit, it looked as though she might not complete it. Obviously with her experience she pulled through to complete all ten skills. Sammie Freestone (6th) was second up to compete for the team and although she had learnt her voluntary routine the day before the competition, managed to score a better score with it than her compulsory routine. A final score of 43.90 was encouraging! Carrie Barrett (20th) was the third and final to compete for the team; it is her first year competing at this level and she performed two routines of ten skills with no end of routine deductions taken off - a positive start for Carrie. The team finished 3rd overall. Meanwhile, Andrew Stamp (1st) U11B (H) blew away his competition, he must now move up a category. U11G (H) shared equivalent success in their group. Lottie Edwards (5th) was first up, she finished with score of 41.90 and second to compete Evie Freestone (2nd) 42.50. The scores indicate the top seven were extremely close! There was only one Oliver Scott O15B (G) to compete in the afternoon session, he finished 2nd with a score of 42.70. I thought everyone held it together well, the only thing is that I have seen everyone do better performances on Friday night's training! Just imagine what your score would have been if you had performed your very best routine? Well done to Oliver Scott (3rd) & Tim Arthur (4th) in the U15B Regional G competition @ Long Eaton on Sunday 26th October 2008. They both came close to the qualifying score for the next grade above on their first attempt in this category! Schools
